2000 Trees Festival is just around the corner. This is one of our favourite festivals in the world; super friendly, expertly curated and exceptionally well-organised. We have spent many years going on about how ridiculously good this festival is and, each year, more and more people are finding out for themselves.
So, what makes ‘Trees’ so special? It’s hard to put your finger on exactly why it’s so magical. If you check out our review of last year’s event here then you’ll have some idea.
Of course, the line-up is always fantastic. It’s a great place to discover your new favourite bands alongside big hitters. The stage times are designed in a way to minimise clashes and maximise the number of things you can see over the weekend. This writer broke his record for the most acts he’s ever seen at one festival last year.
This year is no exception. Kneecap are headlining on the Thursday night. When first announced, it was already clear that this was going to be a special event. Now, it looks to be one of the most vital sets of festival season. They were absolutely brilliant on the main stage a few years ago and their much-deserved headline set is not to be missed.
Pvris, Taking Back Sunday, Coheed & Cambria and Alexisonfire will all be headlining across the weekend in a line-up that looks like it’s straight out of an emo kid fantasy.
Million Dead, Letlive, Twin Atlantic, Sprints, Vukovi, Fidlar and Big Special are just some of the other big hitters playing this year.
We’ll shortly be running a feature on the acts further down the bill that we think you should not miss.
If you’re on the fence, now is the time to snap up those remaining tickets here We promise you will not be disappointed.
2000 Trees returns to Cheltenham 9 – 12 July.
