Baltimore artist Zeruel has announced his debut album Ruin;Rebirth, set for release 19 June 2026 via Rise Records, alongside new single “Limbo”.
“Limbo” sits somewhere between shoegaze and post-hardcore, built around slow, hazy layers that gradually open up rather than explode. Leaning into themes of guilt and release, focusing on that in-between space where nothing really resolves but something starts to shift.
The album follows a similar thread. Across thirteen tracks, Ruin;Rebirth maps out a loose narrative of collapse and recovery, moving through darker, heavier moments into something more open and reflective. It’s less about a clear storyline and more about mood, with recurring ideas around loss, identity and rebuilding.
Behind Zeruel is Braydon Hill, a 22-year-old solo artist pulling from metalcore, shoegaze and post-hardcore to build something that feels more cinematic than genre-specific. There’s a clear attempt to balance weight with atmosphere rather than leaning fully into either.
Ruin;Rebirth lands 19 June 2026, marking his first full-length release on Rise Records.
