Moletrap returns with their latest single, ‘The Green Desert’, now available on all digital streaming platforms. This track is the second single from their upcoming EP, Mid Welsh Pt. 2, set to follow the release of Mid Welsh Pt. 1 in 2025.
Inspired by a camping trip to a secret lake in the Cambrian Mountains, the song reflects on the history and community of the area, particularly around the now-derelict Cwmystwyth Mine. The band aims to capture the spirit of their home, often described as a desert, while addressing themes of exploitation and resilience.
