NEWS: Kneecap announce biggest headline show at Crystal Palace Park

West Belfast and Derry trio Kneecap have announced their biggest headline gig yet, taking over Crystal Palace Park, London on 27 June 2026. They’ll be joined by The Mary Wallopers, Fat Dog, Biig Piig, Gurriers and Madra Salach, making it one of the biggest London Irish events of next summer.

Kneecap say:

“Back to the belly of the beast for our biggest ever headline show.
Our last wee venture into London was to beat the government in court…again. This time it’ll be even better: 25,000 sound heads in a park together.
We’re delighted to have some of our best mates and best bands around to join us.
This is one we can’t wait for.”

Artist pre-sale opens 9AM, Wednesday 26 November via kneecap.ie.
General sale starts 9AM, Friday 28 November via Ticketmaster.

Kneecap’s rise has been impossible to ignore. We’ve seen them grow immensley over a short period of time, in 2022 we caught them on their first English Festival appearance at one of our favourite festivals 2000 Trees before returning to headline just 3 years later.

Their 2024 concept album Fine Art, produced by Toddla T, turned them into a global headline act, arriving alongside their BAFTA-winning feature film Kneecap starring Michael Fassbender. The group’s impact goes well beyond music, from championing the Irish language to winding up governments and breaking box office records. The trio are well known for their outspoken views on politics, for example in late 2024 they won a discrimination case against the UK government after a grant was withheld because of their republican stance. More recently, Mo Chara faced (and later saw dismissed) terrorism-related charges after allegedly waving a Hezbollah flag during a London show, a case the band describe as an attempt to silence dissent.

The BBC refused to broadcast their Glastonbury 2025 set but that didn’t stop them drawing in a huge crowd. All of this shows there is no stopping Kneepcap and their monumental rise.

Following a sold-out UK tour and their recent single “No Comment” with Sub Focus, the Crystal Palace show marks the next step in a movement that has turned festival crowds, clubs and football terraces into one swelling audience.

Joining them, The Mary Wallopers bring their riotous take on Irish balladry, a show that sits somewhere between a pub session and a punk gig. They’ll be joined by chaotic five-piece Fat Dog, alt-pop innovator Biig Piig, industrial post-punk outfit Gurriers and experimental folk group Madra Salach.

The show lands in a venue with its own history. Crystal Palace Park has hosted everyone from Bob Marley and Pink Floyd to Deftones and RÜFÜS DU SOL, and will also welcome Two Door Cinema Club, Snow Patrol and The Offspring in 2026.

25,000 people in a park, a stacked Irish lineup and a band who show up to cause a scene, definitely not one to miss – stick the date in your calendar now.
