NEWS: Mumford & Sons will return to BST Hyde Park on Saturday 4 July 2026

Mumford & Sons will return to BST Hyde Park on Saturday 4 July 2026, ten years after their last headline night on the Great Oak Stage. For a band that started out in West London pubs and back rooms, it reads less like a festival booking and more like a home game.

They’ll be joined by The War On Drugs, with more artists to follow. Tickets go on sale Thursday 4 December at 10am.

Since forming in 2008, Mumford & Sons have gone from grassroots touring to chart-topping records, festival headlines and collaborations with Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young. Their connection with London has always remained front and centre, and Hyde Park is one of the places they’ve returned to at defining points in their career.

The band’s next album, Prizefighter, lands 13 February. Made with Aaron Dessner at Long Pond Studio and featuring Hozier, Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton and Gigi Perez, it follows Rushmere, their 2025 UK No.1 album and sold-out arena run.

Mumford & Sons say:

“Hyde Park is woven into our story… Coming back a decade later, with all this new music, feels incredibly special. London is and always will be the band’s home. We can’t wait.”

Their 2026 set will stretch across eras: early favourites, hits that have lived on festival stages for years, and brand-new tracks played live for the first time. It’s shaping up to be one of the biggest mass sing-alongs of next summer.

Jim King, AEG Presents CEO, adds:

“Their last Hyde Park show was a milestone for BST. Having them return at this moment in their career is something we’re incredibly proud of.”

Joining them, The War On Drugs continue a run that has quietly made them one of America’s most consistent live rock bands. Led by Adam Granduciel, they’ve won a Grammy for A Deeper Understanding, received BRIT nominations, and headlined Madison Square Garden. Their records pull classic rock history into something more atmospheric and modern, making them a fitting lead-in for a Hyde Park summer crowd.

Other previously announced BST 2026 headliners include Garth Brooks (27 June), Pitbull (10 July) and Lewis Capaldi (11 & 12 July).
