NEWS: The Maccabees continue their return into 2026

Huge news for 00’s indie fans like us, The Maccabees are carrying on touring in 2026 after their incredible reunion this year. 2025 saw The Maccabees eagerly anticipated reunion in a handful of shows, including a “one-for-the-ages” headline set at The Park Stage, Glastonbury and a huge headline performance at All Points East.

We were there, it was incredible. It wasn’t a cash-in, or a self-indulgent nostalgia fest but a joyous celebration of fans that have spent years missing them – like us, who have seen the band throughout 2006 to their “final” Alexandra Palace show, following Orlando Weeks’ solo career and Felix and Hugo’s 86TVs project, who thought this day would never come.

Now, they’re taking that adrenaline rush on the road. July 2026 sees the band step outdoors for a major summer tour – five UK dates, over 40,000 fans, kicking off beneath the skyline at London’s Alexandra Palace Park. If All Points East proved anything, it’s that this reunion doesn’t want to stand still.

“The year we’ve just had was so special to all of us, and so unexpected, that it has put some momentum in everyone collectively… and who wouldn’t want to do all that again,” says guitarist Felix White. Hard to argue with him. I’ll see you down the front in Bristol,
