NEWS:Florence Road announce biggest UK headline tour for May 2026

Wicklow’s fast-rising four-piece Florence Road are stepping things up. After a year of sold-out rooms, breathless word-of-mouth hype and a stack of tastemaker praise, the band have confirmed their biggest UK headline tour to date, landing across seven cities this May and wrapping with a huge night at London’s KOKO.

It feels like a natural escalation for a group who, in the space of a heartbeat, have gone from “ones to watch” to “how on earth are they doing this already?”. However, at the core of all this noise is something deceptively simple: four best friends making music that hits the gut before the brain has time to catch up. Led by the magnetic Lily Aron, with Emma Brandon (guitar), Ailbhe Barry (bass) and Hannah Kelly (drums) locking in behind her, Florence Road specialise in emotional shapeshifting, soft verses that crack into grunge-leaning catharsis, tender indie melodies suddenly blowing the roof off with alt-pop hooks and basement-show ferocity.

Their songs talk to the messiness of early adulthood: late-night panic, stupid jokes between friends, heartbreak disguised as a party, and the kind of honesty that can sound louder than distortion when delivered just right. The millions of followers they’ve racked up did not arrive by accident—they came because Florence Road feel real.

Now they’re bringing all of that energy to their biggest shows to date.
